Together In Ministry International (TIM)
As a result of more than 20 years of labor in pulling together the Body of Christ in the Capital Region around the National Day of Prayer, Together in Ministry International is now an ongoing, strong Kingdom relational group of pastors and ministry leaders, committed to praying and laboring togetherin the Capital Region.
TIM provides a relational platform for a multi-faceted Church which serves to unite the Body of Christ in the bond of peace. It has been a multicultural and interdenominational gathering of pastors and other Christian leaders since 1987. The focus is on unity, prayer and the rhema word.
On every first Wednesday of each month, pastors and ministry leaders of the Capital Region gather for worshipful prayer in what is now known as the TIM Meetings. Also, on the 2nd through 5th Fridays of each month, pastors and leaders gather for morning prayer to intercede for the region and beyond.
Joy Night is usually held on the first Monday of December. This is a time that pastors, ministry leaders and their spouses come together for a time of fellowship around the Christmas holiday season. We enjoy an international cuisine while deepeing our appreciation of the anointing that each carry. The kingdon advances relationally!
The International Christian Host Coalition in Washington DC recently celebrated the Joy Night Celebration. The event showed how the Power of God can unite people on one accord - "To see Jesus in each other" as we shine our light through daily living. The website for the organization further amplifies the concepts. The momentum is just beginning as the visionaries articulate the way forward with spiritual, educational and health centered goals for the future, with actions in the present, based on lessons from the past.

A networking committee is motovated to begin the process of formulating a sharing, planning and praying fellowship among Ward 5 pastors. The group will be centered around common concerns that affect Ward 5 and the District of Columbia. It is hoped that this concept of an emerging fellowship will be replicated in other Wards throughout the city.
The first meeting was on February 27, 2010. Interested pastors are encouraged to call the ICHC VoiceMail 202-526-1760 and leave a message including their name, church/ministry, telephone and/or E-mail address to obtain additional information. The facilitators for this Ward 5 Initiative are Pastor Dale E. Wafer, Dr. Corinthia R. Boone and Commissioner Robert (Bob) King.
The gatekeepers of the capital region come together regularly for prayer, conversation and consultation. The following Watch Reports are a brief summary of their observations. It's the gatekeeper's desire that these Watch Reports will spark strategic prayer toward both the nation's capitol as well as the capital region.
ICHC Joy Night participants just had the most splendid time in a Spirit filled environment where Christians from many continents, races, cultures and ethnicities came together in unity to celebrate Jesus! We had the opportunity to give thanks.
